Our Studio

A little about Pilates

Pilates was developed in early twentieth century by German physical trainer Joseph Pilates and was originally used as a rehabilitation method. The moves may look simple, but they take a lot of precision and control to help improve posture and a better sense of well-being.

Where Form Meets Function

Our newly renovated studio showcases a seamless fusion of modern aesthetics and functional design, featuring a state-of-the-art sound system, and 10 reformers. There is also parking on site in the plaza, and plenty more free street parking near by.

Benefits of Pilates

Connecting mind and body, Pilates re-educates movement patterns and rebalances the underlying muscular and structural systems of the body. This results in a heightened sense of awareness and ease of movement, the reduction of pain and tension, better posture and an increased sense of well-being. Like yoga and many other mindfulness practices, Pilates is as much about intentional breathing as it is about the body. Being aware of and controlling your breath doesn’t just allow you to deepen a stretch or perform at a higher level; research shows it can also reduce stress.
